For tours of the old town or guided tours, we recommend our Karlstor / Altstadt bus parking lot.
This parking lot is located at the upper end of the old town. If you have booked a tour of the old town, the bus can ideally stop at Neckarmünzplatz, which is only 300 m away, for a short time to get on and off the bus and then drive to the Karlstor / Altstadt parking lot.

Parking in the Old town
In addition to numerous restaurants, there are many cafes in the main street (pedestrian zone), where you can sit outside in the summer.
The closest supermarket is located on the market square (about 500m from the parking lot). It is about a 10 minute walk to the Heidelberg Bergbahn. A few minutes further there is also a discounter in the Plöck.
Directly at the parking lot is the first public toilet.
Parking spaces for cars and campers are also available. Due to the system, we cannot make reservations at the Karlstor parking lot.
