To note when booking at the castle:

An immediate reservation is also possible from 5 pm the day before by phone at +49(0)172/6200063. For longer-term reservations, regular customers and events, please use our reservation system or our contact form.

Maximum length vehicle

Buses over 14.50 m in length are not allowed to drive up to the castle.

To note when booking at Karlstor:

In principle, advance reservations are not possible at Karlstor. For prices per hour, daily flat rates and nightly flat rates, please refer to our price list. All rates are to be paid to the employee in cash on site.

    No parking allowed

    The Neckarmünzplatz is not a parking space

    The Neckarmünzplatz serves only as an entry and exit place for all guests who want to visit the Heidelberg Old Town. There is a restricted stopping ban for entry and exit for a maximum of 3min.

    Please observe this prohibition out of consideration for other guests.

    In addition, the city’s regulatory service will issue a hefty fine in the event of non-compliance.
